Hi I’m Alexis, 

I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband, Andrew, and our baby girl Piper. I am a mama myself to my one year old girlie. I am a BCBA, LBA licensed in the state of Texas. I have been a BCBA for 4 years and worked in the field for the last 6 years. Prior to this, I worked in foster care, helping support children with special needs in care, and supporting both birth parents and foster parents with necessary resources and connecting them to applicable training to support the child in their care.

My primary work has been with the early intervention population ages 2-6. I love this age group because it is such a critical age of growth and development. I am passionate about teaching through play, setting developmentally appropriate goals, and maintaining openness and flexibility based on the individual needs of the learner. As a professional, I make it a priority to never stop learning to ensure I am able to provide and teach on the most up to date, effective strategies for intervention.
